Don’t Miss the TriState Sale

VOLUNTEERS HELP MAKE IT SUCCESSFUL

Bid on day on a farm on the TriState Auction

Ray Miller of Pleasant Valley Dream Rides, located in Garrett County, south of Oakland, MD, volunteers his time each year to provide horse-drawn pleasure rides both days at the TriState Relief Sale.  Coming from a strong service background with the Amish church, Miller states “I participate in the TriState Relief Sale because I know where the funds go – to help people in disaster in the United States and around the world and I want to help when I can.”  He will also offer an opportunity to place a bid on Saturday’s auction to spend a day on his Amish farm with friends or family and enjoy a horse-drawn wagon ride and picnic.

It is in this spirit that so many are contributing to the success of this year’s TriState Relief Sale.  We can still use more help including in the new kitchen facility, serving etc.  If you would like to contribute time, item for sale, or make a donation if unable to attend, please contact 814-442-4594.

This year’s project donations to MCC are Meat Canning and Sand Dam construction for clean water.  Donations may be made payable to TriState Relief Sale and mailed to TriState Relief Sale, PO Box 824, Grantsville, MD 21536.
