This online Advent devotional calendar, The Gathering, features reflections, prayers, and artwork by women leaders across MC USA. It responds to the pain of family separation caused by ICE raids and deportations—especially during the holiday season when the ache of absence deepens. Through daily reflections from November 30 to December 24, this project offers comfort, solidarity, and prophetic hope, proclaiming God’s work of gathering in a world marked by separation—drawing on stories of exile and homecoming, loss and restoration, and the holy longing for reunion.
